1. Who we are

Changemakers Team Academy (CTA) operates the app at app.changemakersteam.com and the website changemakersteamacademy.org. We provide a learning platform for team-entrepreneurship programs based on the Tiimiakatemia method, in partnership with educational institutions, coaches, and teams.

2. What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, role (changemaker, team lead, faculty coach, institution admin), and password (stored as a salted hash — we never see or store your plaintext password).
• Learning evidence — content you create in the app: evaluations, journal entries, project work, business documents, canvas content, and team/coach interactions. This is the core purpose of the platform.
• Profile details — anything you choose to add, such as team role assessment results and self-descriptions.
• Device & usage data — basic technical information needed to operate the service (IP address, browser/device type, language preference, push-notification token).

3. How we use it

• To run the platform: authenticate you, show your dashboard, and enable learning, evaluation, and collaboration features.
• To let coaches and institutions support your learning in line with the program you are enrolled in.
• To send you notifications you have opted into (via your browser or device).
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your learning content for advertising.

4. Who can see your learning content

Access follows your program role. Changemakers can see their own work and shared team work; coaches and institution administrators can see the work of teams they support, in line with the program's educational purpose. Content you submit for evaluation is visible to your coaches and, where applicable, your institution.

5. Storage & security

Data is stored on secured servers with encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. Passwords are hashed. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, and we ask you to keep your password private.

6. Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies and local storage for sign-in (session) and language preference. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

7. Retention

Your account and learning records are kept while your program (or institutional agreement) requires them, including for educational record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account at any time; institutional records may be subject to your institution's retention policies.

8. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent for notifications at any time (in device settings or the app). To make a request, contact us below. We respond to verified requests promptly.
